Chromotherapy or Color Therapy
Duties &
responsibilities:
Color therapists believe that it is possible to use light in
the form of color, to balance energy to help physical, mental or emotional
problems. As a color therapist, you may
see clients with a range of conditions including depression, eczema, high blood
pressure, and menstrual problems. It is believed that color can help people
boost their immune system, or increase their creativity and ability to learn. You
would use your knowledge of color to assess a client’s color preference and
discuss your findings.
Salary:
You would usually be self-employed and charge an hourly
rate, typically between $30 and $60 an hour.
Education:
You can prepare to work in color therapy by taking a
certificate or diploma, like those awarded by the Vocational Training
Charitable Trust or The Association of Natural Medicine. Alternatively, you
could start by doing shorter courses, which can be useful as an introduction or
for general interest.

Reflection:
I would not like to be a chromotherapy or color therapy
because I don’t find that career interesting or something I would like to make
a living out of, it does not capture my attention even though they do get paid
well.
